Maybe start Sun on Saturday? It's different coming off the bench as opposed to building up confidence and a solid performance over the length of a a match. Or let Whitney play lol Agree with this right here. Either one honestly I certainly get the enthusiasm for Whit Low as her upside is incredible. Reality is she is 4 in depth chart as far as coaches see, and they’re seeing her daily. Her time will come, that time isn’t this year. Given how balanced their scoring is, and that neither are really being relied on as passers, Batenhorst or Sun do not need to be great by any stretch.

I hope Nebraska's performance Wednesday was because they felt playing Iowa was a gimme! Careful Nebraska; you could get bitten by a cellar dweller! 😪

Is she truly 4th, or is it more like an -OR- situation like they do for the two-deep in football? I wonder how far from starting she really is. She'd be getting serious playing time in a lot of programs.

Quasi concern in Whitney’s time will come is if she can’t get playing time this year, all the players in front of her are coming back next year PLUS incoming highly rated recruits.

Cook is really exposing himself for what he really is I'd say from your last couple posts that you're the one exposing yourself. If John Cook had a problem with Lexi (or vice versa), he would not have invited her back for another year and she would not have returned. Lexi has really been tentative this year. Last night in 6 swings, she never put any velocity on any of them. Coaches constantly deal with criticism over their choice of lineups. Don't try to make this out to be tabloid material. Seems fairly obvious that you have a bone to pick with the Husker's excellent coach, who is perhaps close to being the Nick Saban of the Volleyball world.

Lexi, 5 swings and no kills. My dear, are you trying to get your spot back or not? Cook is trying to break her spirit Give it up. If you have a bone to pick with John Cook, I suggest you contact him directly, and leave the VT community at large out of it.

I think it would help Ally to know Sun is not coming in for her. This kind of seems much like the every changing lineup to start the year. Ally got the nod over Sun to start B1G play and I feel like she needs to be given the entire match.

Big Red needs all three of these outstanding players and all are in the mix for playing time. I enjoy seeing the power of Whitney. When she is on she can knock people over. She will be a force in the Big 10. She's gaining experience and ready to go when called on.

Whitney's hitting percentage is higher than Ally B and Lexi Sun's right now. Whitney deserves a chance for that spot on the left in my opinion. She can put the ball away which is what we need on the left. Mady Kubik and Whitney = A force to be reckon with. Cook has mentioned in the past that consistency has been a big thing with Whitney. He mentioned how one day in practice she played not only like all Big 10 but like all world. The next day in practice she wasn't good at all. How many times has Whitney atempted a hit in Big 10 play to make you think that she would be better as a replacement for the left side. So you don't have to check it has only been 9 times with 5 trys agsinst Rutgers & 4 times against Indiana making two kills in both matches with one error in both matches. Batenhorst out of 9 Big 10 matches has had 5 really good matches & 4 not very good matches.

I hope Nebraska's performance Wednesday was because they felt playing Iowa was a gimme! Careful Nebraska; you could get bitten by a cellar dweller! 😪 I did not think the Huskers play at Iowa was very impressive. For sure it was not pretty. There did not appear to be the usual Fire in the team. Batenhorst had another bad game and got pulled out. The impression I got was that the Team was in a Slump and just could not get a rolling. Hames had her bad moments at the service line inspite of her 2 ? aces. They came very close to loosing a set to a team that has not won a conference match. I think that if they play Purdue like they played Iowa they will loose. Hope I am wrong! GBR

A less than great match, mid week vs an opponent they knew they’d beat with probably their C game, doesn’t mean much to me. They did the two things I’m sure they set out to do, get out in 3 and leave healthy.

I think the team is in a mid to early season drop off. They were on the road and mid-terms and school life must be starting to weigh on them. The team will rebound at home. GBR!
