Kubik is just unreal lately She seems to have a better connection with Nicklin, or is better at making something out of sub-optimal sets—maybe some of both.

3 straight hitting errors by Batenhorst I don't wanna *~ start anything ~* but I saw on the Nebraska stats that both Batenhorst and Sun are sub .200 and Krause is right around .250 (which is NOT bad, but she seems capable of better). I haven't watched too many Nebraska matches this year, but it felt the team was in a better rhythm with Orr setting early? Hope I'm not starting anything, just genuinely curious. If three pins are struggling to produce, might it be the setter? Orr?? She hardly played. Perhaps you're thinking of Annie? Annie Evans has done more setting than Orr did and she seemed to do just fine. Saved our butt against UNO.

Yeah, it’s not good to middle and right, and to left not much better. Wonder if Nicklin isn’t feeling well. Sunday I think Coach did say Nicklin has been feeling bad off and on.

In her one start, she played well in the first set but then faded. Post match, Cook said that she isn't yet game ready.

Even the #1 recruit in the nation's location is gonna disappear at times. The intensity of this game is... intense. Hence why I'm a little puzzled why people are surprised when Hames goes through periods of struggle within a match. It happens to every setter. I don't see what happens at practice of course, but I just wish Orr had gotten a few more chances.

I don't think it's shady to call out that Hames' location disappears at times. Happens to every setter. Unless your last name is Glass, Carlini, or Poulter.

The setting can’t be that bad. It’s the lack of defense that’s the problem. They’re letting a 2-16 team hit .275 against them

It's truly puzzling how this Iowa team hasn't pulled together more wins. They've played almost everyone very closely.

Watching these freshmen absolutely ball out is so exciting. Krause, Vander Weide, Roddy, &c. The talent is crazy.
