At least OSU has a Sunday after Friday But WI has no extra time after OSU before PSU too And Penn State has even less extra time after Minnesota. Back to backs used to be the norm. Kind of miss those Friday/Saturday weekends, though it's nice to be able to see more games televised/streamed. |

So you think Penn State's match at Minnesota Friday evening's going to be a walk in the park? PSU ALSO has no extra time. I think that will level the playing field, and Wisconsin is at HOME for both Friday and Saturday. |

Flying across one time zone, sleeping on short hotel beds, and eating Minnesota food is not good for your constitution. |

Penn State’s blocking in great. Now the Badgers come up with 19 blocks the match before PSU. I wonder what this means for tomorrow. It sure is tough to shut Hord down….I hope they show up as strongly as they did tonight vs. OSU.

Penn State’s blocking in great. Now the Badgers come up with 19 blocks the match before PSU. I wonder what this means for tomorrow. It sure is tough to shut Hord down….I hope they show up as strongly as they did tonight vs. OSU. Our blocking was good in the number of stuffs, but the block last night was simply not doing its job for large chunks of the match, which is to say that they weren’t closing well, weren’t effectively shading off areas of the court, and our back row was shredded because of it. There were 19 team blocks, sure, but other than that there weren’t a lot of positive block touches. So IDK. Penn State usually finds an extra gear against us. |

Wisconsin has the most talent on their roster of any team in the county. How a coach handles that talent determines the ultimate success (I am talking a national championship) of the team. Loberg is having a super super-senior season that she did not have in her first four seasons. Wisconsin fans like to bemoan the two players that were lost this season due to injury. No other team in the country could lose two players of that caliber and seem to not miss a beat. Wisky can. If the Badgers do not win the B1G and the national championship, Sheffield should be publicly flogged!

First, I would not say they haven't "missed a beat'; they pretty clearly have. Second, Nebraska. Third, Texas. Winning championships is hard. Very hard. Stuff happens. The "best team" doesn't always win. Try to enjoy the ride. |
