I think the Gophers have a bit too much firepower for Penn State in this one.

I give the Gophers a small edge on a neutral court and thus a bigger edge at Minny.

Do you think generally - obviously it varies from year to year -- that these are the two hardest travel partner road trips in the B1G - PSU-OSU and Wisc-MN? I guess some years Mich-Mich St. could be up there.

Question - when these teams are at home - like this weekend, MN and WI hosting -- is the difficulty of the home duo advantageous to the the opposite team in the duo? This weekend is a perfect example. Very good teams OSU and PSU are coming to the upper Midwest. Will the home team in the second match have an added advantage because the team they're playing just played a tough team on the road AND they're still on the road playing ANOTHER tough team. Or is road trip "fatigue" really not a thing. After all it could be the opposite - like the visiting team could play really well and/or win at the first stop (say, WI) and that could energize them for the second stop (MN).

I'm excited to see this one! I honestly don't know how it will go. I could see any combination of sweeps, 4-setters, or 5th set thrillers. I feel like Minny may come out of top if Landfair is good to go. But I still have no idea.
