Franklin is the real deal. She’s still classified as a freshman and putting up big numbers and decent efficiency. Excited to see her for the next 4 years. They have 2 quality setters that can get the job done. Not sure if a 5-2 is the answer for long term success but it sure worked tonight. I was all for Cullen taking over a 5-1 until tonight. Very well done by bishop. Middles are solid defensively but need to be fed a little more. Ogorman should fill the role for gros next year and pick up one good pin and a strong DS, this MSU team will be back in the top 25 come next October. Impressive win and happy to see them not fall apart once again.

Michigan State up 39 to 65. Purdue down 3 to 10. Figstats is missing the Minnesota/Michigan State result for some reason, MSU will be slightly worse than 65 real-time. Oh, I was wondering why they had Minnesota with one less win, good to know.

I wasn't thinking of it at the time but did MSU run out of subs in the extra-points second set, when they had a shot at setting up the sweep?

Hannah Grant was supposed to be the libero for this year but she transferred. This team has the potential to be like the 2007(?) team that had Ashley Schatzle and Katie Johnson on the pins- two exceptional all-round OH’s similar to Franklin and Max-Brown. The difference for Purdue, IMO, was that the middles got involved offensively, but that needs to continue. I really hope Poljan can come back and play this season. Does anyone know if this match is viewable on YouTube anywhere?

Does anyone know if this match is viewable on YouTube anywhere? It will be on YouTube. Somebody has been posting major B1G matches on YouTube regularly now, usually within 24 hours. Just search on "Purdue volleyball."
(And if you ever see the October 5, 2019, Wisconsin @ Nebraska match on YouTube, please let me know!! I think John Cook had it abducted and disposed of....)

Did Minnesota and Wisconsin play the same MSU lineup that played Purdue? Only difference being the setters. Played a 5-1 w/ Cullen against MN/WI. Played a 5-2 w/ Cullen front row and Bishop back row against Purdue.
