I believe the Iowa game should be a humbling wake up call. Most of the team did not use this as a game to polish their team performance. This team seems to play very well when they are ahead and things are working. Then they are confident, alert, loose, happy and they make things really go well. It's interesting to see who is on the floor when they are loose and more confident. In some groupings they tighten up. They have loads of talent and potential, but the losses and glitches don't bode well for an easy season here on out. But, you never know. GBR

I'm wondering if someone has stats they can share on how each Neb rotation scores since conference play started.

Coach Cook said Purdue's Caitlyn Newton had 61 total attacks last night.

GBR I didn't think (and it sounded like Coach Cook thought the same thing) that Nebraska played poorly against Iowa. The Hawkeye attacks were just finding the floor. It is no exaggeration that Big 10 teams have no gimmes. There may be some games which are more winnable, but no team can sleepwalk through a victory against even the cellar dwellers. That's what makes it so interesting. I just wished the Huskers had taken more rips instead of tipping and rolling so much. The Iowa block was not much of a threat.

Coach Cook said on the radio program Thursday night it’s probably harder to win the conference than the NCAA tournament. It sounded wacky when he said it, but his reasoning was that in the tourney you have to face two, maybe three top ten teams, but in the conference it’s quite a few more.

Even the Atreides are Husker fans. I'm not seeing what you're talking about? Did Herbie Husker get a part in the movie?

Damn these back to back matches with only a two hour window! Going to have to join this match once PSU v. Badgers concludes.
