Huskers will be well rested after they disposed of Iowa in 3 sets. However, Purdue will be very hungry after being upset by Spartie.

I’m not prepared to have to think about this just yet, but thank you.

Motivation to play above your baseline will come easy when Purdue reviews the MSU match. They will strive to pressure NE's passing and seek to replicate as the underdog did against them.

I am really hoping that Purdue can dig deep and win. Purdue will have to play out of their minds though. Purdue is not the same without Seniors M. Hornung and Jael Johnson. I was so excited to see Johnson in uniform…but she changed into street clothes after the starters were announced. She looked good warming up with her team. I thought that Purdue could adapt and it would be next woman up..but Purdue sorely misses Johnson and Hornung.

Really looking forward to this game. Both teams will learn alot about how they are progressing this season. Purdue is a serious team - lots of talent. Big Red will have to play at a very high level in this match. GBR!

Do you think Lexi Sun will ever play meaningful games again at Nebraska? It seems she is getting very little playing time now.

Purdue for the win. In 4. Anger and disappointment are great motivators. Go Boilers!

Do you think Lexi Sun will ever play meaningful games again at Nebraska? It seems she is getting very little playing time now. Look, I don't have crystal ball, but right now, not looking good. However, two rays of hope. One, an injury to Kubick/Batenhorst/Krause, or two, Cook's short leash for the aforementioned.

There will be a day when the death of Nebraska's B1G win streak will come, but...

Purdue for the win. In 4. Anger and disappointment are great motivators. Go Boilers! If anger and disappointment are the ingredients that propel a team to victory, the Nebraska football team should have enough to win out the rest of the season. Unfortunately, those emotions might motivate, but they sometimes prove counterproductive, leading to more frustration and loss of confidence. I know comparative scores are not bulletproof, but they might be the best barometer we have for predicting victories. MSU got a high of 20 points in Lincoln. And they snuffed Purdue on their home court. Then there is the Illinois comparison where the Illini won in 5 at home and lost in 5 at Purdue. On the other side of the scales, we could look at how Purdue put a beatdown on Iowa and the Hawkeyes tested the Huskers almost to the max for a sweep, both matches in Coralville. Of course anything could happen, but the stats point to a high chance of Nebraska elongating their victory streak by one more match and heading into the showdown with Wisconsin in sole possession of first place. And Purdue will have plenty of anger and disappointment to motivate them for their next match with Northwestern. I will say Go Boilers, however - in the football game Saturday against Wisconsin. We need them ranked when they come to Lincoln next weekend.
