Also, they need to keep Leo in. She'll get better. With some good sets she can be fair in attacking

Hawai'i just lacked the energy to compete tonight, UCSB took it to them early on and never looked back! It's okay tho, this is a good learning experience and now they know what to expect the next go around. Looking forward to the next time they meet up.

This is not a battle for 1st place, cause no matter what, the Wahine will still be in 1st place, after this match. Not true. The head to head belongs to UCSB. Except that UCSB now has to come to Hawaii. Can UCSB repeat this performance, I do not believe so. But the Wahine can definitely play much better. We will definitely see a very different Wahine team when UCSB comes to the SSC. |

Hawaii will be ready for them back in Hawaii. Shades of Cal Poly on the road where we got swept in 3 in 2019, and came back to beat them in Hawaii a few weeks later.
