Back when I was a young and played, we put our kneepads on our knees. Why don't they do that now? She's got floor burns on her knee and her pads are down on her shins. Maybe we used bad ones, but they were bothersome, and then when you needed them they slid down. |

• Nicklin Hames moved up to third all-time at Nebraska for career assists last Wednesday and passed the 4,000 assists milestone on Saturday. She now has 4,040, which makes her just the third Husker in school history and the second in the rally-scoring era to reach the mark. Hames joins the company of Fiona Nepo (4,824 from 1995-98) and Kelly Hunter (4,125 from 2013-17).
