Husker records watch: • Nicklin Hames moved up to third all-time at Nebraska for career assists last Wednesday and passed the 4,000 assists milestone on Saturday. She now has 4,040, which makes her just the third Husker in school history and the second in the rally-scoring era to reach the mark. Hames joins the company of Fiona Nepo (4,824 from 1995-98) and Kelly Hunter (4,125 from 2013-17). • Hames owns 1,158 career digs and is three away from passing Annika Albrecht (1,160 from 2014-17) for ninth both all-time and in the rally-scoring era. • Hames also has 104 career aces -- five away from passing Jennifer Saleaumua (108 from 2002-05) for fifth in the rally-scoring era. Hames is 15 away from breaking into the top 10 all-time in school history and tying Allison Weston (119 from 1992-95) for 10th on the all-time aces list. • Lauren Stivrins sits at 1,141 career kills, which ranks 18th at NU. Her next target is Stephanie Thater (1,158 from 1989-92) at 17th Do you know if her career digs are the most by a setter? Why volunteer a statement like that if it’s a lie? When saying nothing about their chemistry is also an option. It’s a little embarrassing to stir up a rumor about chemistry surrounding a transfer four years ago. Especially when those rumors have nothing to do with the current locker room environment |

Where's the analysis for this match? I want to know who's going to win and why. There’s so many more important things than that to discuss. Yeah, I guess it was too much to ask. Back in the days of yore there were plenty of armchair QBs ready to give their analysis for free. Now everyone's too lazy and they settle for adult drinks and Mary J. |

I realized I still have my lightsaber from the 2017 match. Somehow it still lights up after the same damn batteries have been sitting in there for four years. Maybe the batteries are programed to only work in championship years. |

I believe both teams have weapons and really good defense, Neb's block will be factor, Roddy will be a factor, as will Strivins and Caffey. Most importantly, IMO, HAMES will have to set one hell of a game. Should be exciting and fun match.
