Who has OSU beaten to rank #7? Confused by that one.

Nebraska and OSU are over overranked, but otherwise seems ok Agreed, and I'm also surprised that Pitt is fourth, considering they're No. 1 in RPI right now. That was odd to me too. But they said win/loss was first consideration. I’m assuming that even at 1 loss as of Wednesday, tied with Wisconsin, they liked Wisconsin’s resume better. Hard to jump then past Texas or Louisville with that criteria

They emphasized it was through matches on Wednesday, they consider how many sets teams lose/win in, and still put Nebraska at 6 after being swept on their home court. Lol and won 10 straight prior to that going 30-3 in sets, with Illinois, PSU, Purdue all in the mix. I’m not saying Nebraska is #6, but you could’ve used many other metrics to make your claim aside from the one you did.

Well, I was wrong about them hesitating to pick UCLA because of the "might be losing when we announce this" factor. Of course, UCLA easily handling Washington right now makes them look great by naming them.

Our poll was mostly correct with Washington and Purdue out and UCLA and OSU in

There is no point in even having RPI and the selection criteria if the committee is going to blatantly ignore it for a handful of Big 10 teams only.

NCAA still trying to justify that Big 10 is the top conference by ranking 3 teams. What a joke.

The 12 to 6 jump would infuriate me in the past, but I know the committee by now, so I’m not even going to raise my blood pressure. Just shake my head.

IMO, it’s ridiculous to even take value in this. Wisconsin is not 3 given they lost again today, Nebraska will drop again, and there’s so many match ups of head to head in these teams that will change things. It’s like, I get it for marketing reasons and getting viewership, but it’s silly to even remotely put value in to it.
