I think I have to agree. They dramatically increased the likelihood that their rankings would be immediately out of date by doing it this way. They wanted to do it on a national broadcast of a match that was billed as a "blockbuster." They could wait and do their reveal on a Monday or Tuesday, but they wouldn't have the platform. I get that they're trying to leverage the best vehicle to promote the sport. That's good. But it needs some work. I don't have an issue with the timing of the reveal. I just think they shouldn't have made the cutoff Wednesday when the reveal wasn't until Sunday. They easily could have had the top 15 or so candidates mapped out and made adjustments, e.g. after Nebraska lost to Minnesota.

Sounds right. I don't know the people they used or their avail on a Sunday, but that would be an improvement.
Still think they should do a Top 16 instead of a Top 10.

I think the purpose of the mid-season top 10 reveal is to give some insight into who the top 4 seeds will be. Otherwise, to attempt a prediction of the top 16, at this point, would probably require a top 25 reveal.
