I watched last year’s fall matches against Baylor and they were really fun to revisit. Such high intensity. So much has changed for both teams, I’m honestly anticipating an amazing match both nights, but particularly the first. Both teams have had plenty of rest and time to dissect film. If our team sustains our level of play, I think we have the edge, but Baylor has some amazing players, and our match ups with jhenna in the front will be a challenge. There was one play last year where jhenna stuffed Harrison I believe, and the stair down took away some of my doubts. She’s a gamer, and knows how to win. Can’t wait!!

I hope the ref from the UCLA match comes to call this one and watches Sedwick like a hawk. which match was that? the UW one? |

I am so excited for these matches. I love the friendship/rivalry the girls have with Yos and even though I'm a die hard Texas fan I love to watch her play volleyball. I can handle her getting her points as long as we control the rest. If (big IF) Tex plays decently I think we are good.

I have always believed that this team plays "up". We handled the Baylor team 4x last season, and everyone is a known quantity, except for maybe Avery Skinner - and the girls are going to want payback from her. So I think they are going to play motivated, high-level volleyball right out of the gate.

I appreciate Hannah Sedwick as a player and athlete, but some of her sets can be pretty suspect. That ref would probably pass out from lack of oxygen the way she’d be on that whistle. |
