That wasn’t really my point, but sure. My (not groundbreaking) point: you can outhit (or play better than your opponent) and still lose. Texas outhit Baylor and lost, but Baylor was better at other facets of the game. UK outhit USC and was also better in almost every other facet of the game (minus service errors). UK’s loss was extra frustrating in that way, regardless of how good SC is. *see Baylor’s loss to Texas Tech I caught the last few points on my phone and remember Coleman serving out when it was 13s in the fifth, I believe. After seeing Tech play in person, was definitely a bit bewildered as to how they beat Baylor.

PLAY THE WHISTLE. Real vb people know that, understand that. Arrogant fans who refuse to accept missed calls are part of the game. I don’t care what you’re talking about the call was missed and that’s just it. Texas still is going to get a top 4 seed and shut everyone up in the tournament. Agree they will get top 4 for sure. Watched last point and Texas defense didn't freeze o set, they were trained not to, stop making excuses. Heaven forbid you acknowledge Texas lost.

Lol there’s always someone to blame, not like it’s a team sport or anything. It’s well into all conference seasons, subs don’t do much for you besides give your starters an easy way out of fixing their own mistakes. "tEaM sPOrT" yet contradicted yourself about using the team? stop talking to me💀 Lol don’t be stupid, the 6-9 starters that get regular playing time at the “team” in this scenario, everyone else is a sub. When Jhenna, Logan, Sydney, and Mel all play their roles so poorly that a wholesale change is needed for the rest of the conference season then maybe you’ll have a leg to stand on, until then you’re just sounding like a crybaby who can’t accept that their team lost a match. Texas is still a juggernaut despite this one lost, the starters who lost will have something to look back on a make adjustments to. That’s volleyball.

Baylor really is the wildcard for NCAAs right - the fact that they have a big range of play (they can look top tier and can look WTF?), and they won't be seeded in the Top 4.

Checked the stats, and Iosia only had 6 digs in each of the matches… and her passing isn’t great. Seems like she needs a lot of work and perhaps the Texas staff is hoping Halter will compete for the spot next year.

When you have pins like Baylor you have a punchers against anyone. The thing I think will decide how far the go are 1. Can they get production in the middle (game 1 Texas-No, game 2-yes). 2. Can they pass well enough, when they weren’t getting aced by Texas they did a good job of passing well against some tough serves. 3. Can they handle big blocks, Texas asserted itself well enough to limit the explosive pins somewhat. If they have to play a Wisc, BYU, Louisville can they hit efficient enough to pull out the win. Some of that is setting, I wouldn’t say Sedwick had a bad game but watching there were several sets where the pins had to reach back on a hit which reduces the velocity of that ball coming at you on defense.
They probably remind me most of Minnesota who are pin dependent. The games I’ve seen of Purdue they seem to have a more consistent middle attack.

Before the season, who would have predicted that Louisville is the lone undefeated team at this point in the season? I'm enthralled. Me! 😃
