The play should’ve ended to begin with because the double should’ve been called! Texas was in shock because everyone was just sure the double would get called so when it didn’t it messed everyone up. PLAY THE WHISTLE. Real vb people know that, understand that. Arrogant fans who refuse to accept missed calls are part of the game. I don’t care what you’re talking about the call was missed and that’s just it. Texas still is going to get a top 4 seed and shut everyone up in the tournament. |

Wow that was certainly an interested read. Lots of Texas fans saying they deserved to lose/should’ve lost and acknowledged all the poor things Texas did tonight but suddenly we’re awful people for saying the last ball was a double. Saying one ball was a double is certainly not blaming the refs for an entire loss.

Just got home from the game. Serve, receive, set. There is nothing to say about 20 SE, the ceiling is really high (Friday Night), the floor reared it’s ugly head tonight. Looking at the stats I’m shocked to see Baylor only sided out at 65%, it felt like 90%. It’s hard to beat anyone much less a team with that much firepower with 20 SE. Parra had a ruff match, think it would have been good to sub her for a specialist.
I don’t know what the stats were the first set they let get away from them on Skinners serve and our eeeh passing. They did well to reel Baylor back in but that was a pretty big lead to try and get back in the second half of a set. After that it seemed to go from solid to iffy but in more bite size chunks.
Setting seemed good enough, thought Friday was better but clearly not the reason they lost.
How Texas could not win the 4th with two Baylor DS on the front row was just about as frustrating as the 20 SE. if they could have closed out the 4th it’s game on in the 5th.
It’s tough to win every game and this sucked but Texas has to put it behind them have a solid week of practice and come out ready for OU. Still have a 1 game lead over Baylor in the B12, win out and win the B12 championship and remind Baylor we don’t like sharing sh$t!!

Hit .353 and lost. I wonder if this is how KY fans felt after the loss to SC, I think they hit .343 and lost a game they probably should have won but SE was an issue too I believe.

I watched that game but Sep seems like a year ago. |
