That's how Wisconsin lost to Maryland, they had 17 SE's. Service errors are a killer. I forgot about that game, MD had quite a few blocks too didn’t they? I watched that game but Sep seems like a year ago. Yep, the Terps had 15 total blocks. WI also had an uncharacteristically low hitting efficiency that night, but the 3 SE's in the 5th stung.

PLAY THE WHISTLE. Real vb people know that, understand that. Arrogant fans who refuse to accept missed calls are part of the game. I really think that Jhenna could of changed direction on that last set or go to the back row to Logan. Iosia set that ball, not Jhenna. Lmao. When McGhee set the ball, she was running and off balance. The ref has the discretion to consider it an athletic play and allow for the double contact. However, I saw a singular contact that ended in a wobbly ball. The spin on the ball is not the metric the ref should use to call a double. Instead the ref needs to see two distinct contacts that are not part of one motion.

The fact that you can lose 3-1 and pretend that one play decides the entire match is BAFFLING to me…

Hit .353 and lost. I wonder if this is how KY fans felt after the loss to SC, I think they hit .343 and lost a game they probably should have won but SE was an issue too I believe. Exactly how it feels. 12 SEs, 4 in the 5th set. UK played better in literally every other facet of the game. well I think we feel a little worse considering South Carolina isn’t a top ten team lol. Getting beat by Baylor at Baylor is hardly a bad loss

SKT starts 3rd sets = Texas wins 3rd set = Jerritt starts Jhenna 4th set💀 “SKT doesn’t have a good connection with the middles” but still manages to make it work💀 Also we all know Jerritt isn’t subbing anybody out, this has been the case with Jhenna previously, Logan when she’s not hitting good, Peterson when she’s not making digs and now Parra when she did nothing... this is nothing new... Way to pull off the upset Baylor!

It’s well into all conference seasons, subs don’t do much for you besides give your starters an easy way out of fixing their own mistakes.

Getting beat by Baylor at Baylor is hardly a bad loss That wasn’t really my point, but sure. My (not groundbreaking) point: you can outhit (or play better than your opponent) and still lose. Texas outhit Baylor and lost, but Baylor was better at other facets of the game. UK outhit USC and was also better in almost every other facet of the game (minus service errors). UK’s loss was extra frustrating in that way, regardless of how good SC is.

Confused?? Quoting you?? And to be fair: baylor fans no even less about what a double is!! The people I talked to were former volleyball players….I think I know what their talking about. Again, stop QUOTING me because I’m not trying to argue with you any longer.

Credit to UT fans. When the opposing coach is speaking about the Baylor fans bring louder in the 4th set than the Texas fans when your out home is funny. There were more fans Saturday, it was volleyball alumni night and it looked closer to 2019 when the bus loads of students from the outlying schools come in. I’m guessIng 6500ish fans and 40% were UT fans. Hopefully no one goes to a stat site to correct me eye ball estimates🙏

Ridiculous. Texas took a big L tonight by their own play. Definitely wasn’t up to that ref call. Hate that it ended like that because it took away from Baylor’s great play. resorting to tagging Hannah’s personal Instagram saying things like “we all love watching you double every ball you touch” or that baylor is a “a cheating” and a non respectful program are just embarrassing real classy. SMH
