Texas had plenty of chances to take this set when they were literally hitting against two 5'7" blockers and Sedwick in the front row

props to Baylor...we deserve to lose this match. Too many service errors. I thought Texas was over that. All in all, 1 loss isn’t a terrible thing in the regular season, maybe slightly less pressure in the tournament then. |

Hate that it came down to a no call, but there was no part of this game that Texas should have won. Easily the worst game Iosia and Parra have played as longhorns.

this is ridiculous, absolutely deserved to lose after that showing. 5-1 against baylor in the past year, that's pretty good.
no more pressley/sedwick/vdm/skinner for the bears so yeah, i'm feeling okay going forward (as long as they don't end up in our region).
gotta think the win (a sweep on the road) and a 3-1 loss (we won 4 sets to their 3) gets us a top 4 seed, as long as we win out. hook 'em.

If Texas can play the absolute worst game of their life and beat a top 10 team, I don’t see how you can argue anyone over them. I do think those two teams will meet in the final as long as they’re on opposite sides of the bracket. nah, I’ll still have TX as #1 if they win, like have all season, even after ND 5 setter. Welp…..Hello Louisville. |
