You're welcome! There are metered spaces on some of the surrounding streets as well as metered spaces in some of the nearby lots. I suspect parking at State Farm Center is free since they're offering the shuttle but don't quote me on that. The best parking for price and proximity is the lot directly adjacent to Huff Hall on the east side of the building- it fills up quick but it's free to park there. The closest walk without a shuttle is the metered lot west of Main Library---> Google MapsPersonally, if Huff Hall lot is full, which it does fill up like an hour before, I would park at the parking lot at the krannert center diagonally to the south or on peabody, or the lot behind the law school, its just about as far and there will be a lot less foot traffic which driving at night is a big issue as students unfortunately tend to just step out into traffic sometimes. All the street spaces and the metered spaces in the lots are free after 6. The farther north you wander the more pedestrians and harder it will be to find parking spaces, even at night. Gregory, the eatst-west road that is on the north side of Huff is a terrible road to drive on with all the students wandering all over the place. Thanks for all the great tips! Neither of us mind walking, so I’m thinking we may just park at the State Farm Center and walk from there. We’re both stuffed after a great meal at Black Dog, so the walk will be good for us! |

Can’t believe there’s so little activity on this game thread! I’m expecting a close, hard-fought match tonight. Both teams have made progress through B1G play, but my impression is the Illini have grown more—so I don’t expect a repeat of the October matchup.

Can’t believe there’s so little activity on this game thread! I’m expecting a close, hard-fought match tonight. Both teams have made progress through B1G play, but my impression is the Illini have grown more—so I don’t expect a repeat of the October matchup. Fingers crossed from an Illini fan. |
