They should’ve just had Tufuga or Tillman play back row for Francis. I’m not sure what Berty provides other than poorly dug balls and painful attempts to save things

1st win at Stanford in 10 years for the Ducks! Great playing Ducks. Lead by Nuneviller with 19 kills and Lewis with 10. Ducks had 50 digs and 7 aces. Stanford was lead by Francis with 12 kills. 40 digs, just 3 aces. Baird needed to be more of a factor and she wasn't.

If Stanford loses to Oregon State for the first time ever on Sunday I may have to take a break from volleyball

This was a very strange stat sheet for Oregon...
Nuneviller 19 kills, Lewis 10 kills,
No one else with more than 3 kills....(all of the other 4 hitters had 3 kills each) and yet they won.

Williams basically taking over and was critical at the end of this 3rd set. A couple blocks, a back row kill, and very tough serving! She deserves a lot of credit. She was really big. I hope this helps her confidence a ton. Same. We need her to be confident and a factor when needed, and possibly even more so next year. |

I hope Stanford gets healthy. I hate people being out. The six point loss is a brutal thing for all volleyball fans. Congrats to Oregon on the win.
