Just posted on job thread-- Macy is no longer coaching at ASU-- and not a great sign for new head coach. This is a strange development but ASU is a really attractive landing spot so I'm thinking they won't have to look very hard to fill the spot. I would like to see someone with a prior P12 relationship. |

Still waiting to see if more recruits/transfers are added. Still a VERY thin roster at this point, and many SR/GR leaving next year. ASU needs to hit the current portal window hard. OH: Roberto Rabelo-SR, Geli Cyr-JR OPP: Marta Levinska-SR S: Shannon Shields-GR MB: Claire Jeter-SR, Olivia Johnson-SO L/DS: Mary Shroll-GR, Jaden Ravnsborg-JR, Meadow Cooper-JR

Macey to a club coach is... a choice. Wish them well but this staff is lacking a lot of experience (as well as scholarship players).

She wanted to step back from coaching since she’s raising two little boys and wants to expand her family. She’s now the recruiting coordinator at Club One. Unlike college, club gives her more flexibility and helps her husband find a stable job. |

You don't move across the country for a new P5 job and then a month in decide that you don't want to coach college anymore. |

Next time I would advise a little more tact when trying to spin a narrative there’s no spin on the narrative just saying what I heard. It wasn’t meant to be anything or “spill private info” but there’s no bad blood between her and JJ. Right before she left, I was at a dinner with her, JJ, and a few other club directors and all was well. One thing I’m not going to let you do is discredit me being her teammate just to make you feel better. If it was her way of saving face to erase this he/she said nonsense then so be it. |
