I'm a little disappointed that there aren't a lot of home games this year... Hasn't that been a problem a few times? I think they were the team that was forced to play on the road for their entire non-conference schedule a few years back. They were supposed to be upgrading DFA, but they ended up not doing it. |

I could be wrong, but this new roster and all the changes is giving me CAL vibes when they got a new coach. It might take a few years to get traction again for ASU.

OH: Roberto Rabelo-SR, Geli Cyr-JR OPP: Marta Levinska-SR S: Shannon Shields-GR MB: Claire Jeter-SR, Maddie McLaughlin-GR or Olivia Johnson-SO L/DS: Mary Shroll-GR, Estella Zatechka-SO geli has more experience at asu, but i don't know if she starts over cromartie. the liberos are up in the air for me, ravnsborg started the season but larson-nummer started more as the season went on. excited to see what shroll and zatechka can do under van niel...i can see any one of the outsides needing a ds to help with passing (which i think will improve now that iman transferred) levinska, jeter, and shields are definite starts, and i hope we don't do that 6-2 foolishness we did at the start of last season. levinska is a very good 6ro player and can provide a spark from anywhere on court. the middles trouble me the most. mclaughlin didn't play at middle last year, and is slotted over to mb because we don't have the depth and wasn't able to transfer in that need? sounds like trouble to me. johnson and perez are complete unknowns at this level, so fingers crossed to this squad! |
