The reason you set Kubik at the end like that is you need her to be good for the team’s success going forward. She’s had a rough day & ending on a positive might help her mentally. Not a bad idea for Hames.

Lindsay and Ally doing well gives me hope for the future! Lindsay has played poorly for two weeks. Now I have lots of optimism about her but she’s struggling mightily as of late |

I want to give Kudos to John Cook and the Nebraska players for calling out the fans who were disrespectful to the Maryland players on Friday night. As a white male I haven't walked in other's shoes, so I have absolutely no right to tell others how to protest or honor the country they call home.
Didn't hear a peep from Wisconsin fans when Ohio State players were kneeling during the national anthem when Badgers played OSU at home

Nicklin. Sun has the hot hand. Throw it outside and end this thing. There is literally no reason to run a pipe to Kubik who has been abysmal today. My god. Even worse was forcing it to Stivrins 4 straight times prior to that. I've always been a big Hames fan, but the setting today was rough to watch. |

Something is off. The chemistry just doesn’t seem solid. These freshmen should be tearing it up. Players are so up and down? There is no consistency.
The entire teams celebrations, etc. on the sidelines just seem forced. This team is so odd.

Another ugly performance. This may have been worse than Louisville which would rank it as the worst performance of the year. Not where a team wants to be heading into the last two weeks of league play. Although the cup half full says that the Huskers are tied for first place.
Not clear to me why you would pull your workhorse out of the line up at this point in the season. It isn't the first time she has been high kill low hitting percentage. After all, she's the one that gets asked to take out the trash the majority of the time. And all she's done is be 2nd in kills in conference play behind one Steph Samedy--or at least she was in 2nd prior to today. Plus all the other things she's asked to do.
But the length of rope you have for the inconsistent play of the setter apparently is unlimited. Don't know how healthy Orr is at this point in the season, but at this juncture I would gladly sacrifice defense for some consistent sets from Anni and see if the offense can get going again.
Hames has regressed, at least her setting has. Not sure how or why, but she's taken a step backwards.
