I wasn't too surprised to see Cook go with Bush over Crenshaw at OH2, even though I think Crenshaw earned a shot at starting. But I'm not going to belabor the point as Bush had a lot of nice swings and is a blocking force at the net (I think she is already one of the better blocking OHs in the conference). Eventually Emoni will cut down on her errors and be the player that Cook is envisioning. I think what we are seeing with this choice is that she hits well enough to keep her in the lineup for her blocking.

I think Cook also believes that Emoni can keep progressing game by game and has tremendous upside. A lot depends on her trajectory over the next four matches. If she has a lot of errors, I would expect to see Crenshaw. I will say that I would love to see Emoni catch a little fire and become the dominant hitter we believe she can be.

My gosh Sam was on fire, she was also hitting well Friday, should be a POW candidate Drechsel 15k .700 15k .448 against OSU .551 for the weekend.

Did Endsley get hurt or just beat out for playing time?

Did Endsley get hurt or just beat out for playing time? She got injured around a month ago and havn't got back her starting spot since then. I think her, Crenshaw and Bush are similar offensively, but Bush's block wins her the spot.

I think there are two recruits behind UW bench, one might be Margot Manning, not sure about the other one. yes one was Manning!

Do you know who the other one was? She may be Zoey Henson, a 2023 beach commit

Is Bush putting up such incredible blocking totals? Not if you just go by the stats -- a little more than .6 per set. But if I were to guess, she's getting more than that later in the season. Also, I know from going to every home game except one that she gets a number of blocks that are really solo blocks but she is credited with a block assist because the middle was somewhere close. I don't think she is a blocking monster just yet and Crenshaw has been more efficient offensively. For that matter, Endsley is hitting a higher percentage over the course of the season. What we know is that Cook likes Bush's physicality.

Is Bush putting up such incredible blocking totals? She's the best blocking OH in the conference with 0.74 blk/s. The second best is Baird with 0.61 blk/s.
