She does not really tool the block much either. It's always been lacking in her hitting. She's got some work to do. We’ll, she’s had 5 years-or is it 6? If Madi Robinson had stuck around…… It's only four (no redshirt or medical redshirt), well, five with the covid year, and frankly, I feel like she kind of lost two of those years with the knee injury. She didn't have much spring in her jump when she came back as a sophomore. I wasn't even sure she'd ever get back to a level that would give her a chance to play consistently, so she's done well for herself. These matches she did not look good, but I have seen better stuff from her, so maybe it's just a bad week. You never know what athletes are dealing with. |

These matches did not look good, but I have seen better stuff from her, so maybe it's just a bad week. You never know what athletes are dealing with. She seemed to be playing better a week or so ago. But these last two matches have been reminiscent of earlier play. She must have really done some damage to her knee. I mean McKenna Miller bounced back really well from her injury, I would tell TBN in the next practice(s), you are only allowed to hit line, hit high, or tool. Absolutely no angle shots. IMO, tooling is the best shot in volleyball!!!! Man, I’m a good coach from my recliner 🙂. |
