Hawks played well, it’ll be a crazy next month for Iowa trying to figure out what direction the program will go. My hope is they hire a seasoned successful head coach. - my bet if so, will be a mid major head

While he is like Darth Vader to me in his torturing of my favorite program, I would like to point out that I want Rose to go out on his terms, as he absolutely should, but I do think that will be in the next decade, in which Franklin is now under contract.

Yeah. When Rose retires, Franklin will be in the midst of being paid a lot, which may not be a good thing. Total panic whiff by PSU, in my opinion. At this point it is becoming evident to me that our Olympic sports are being cannibalized to fund the football program, which... I get, and I think objectively is probably the best course of action we can take right now, but it still hurts to see us slide backward, precipitously so in some respects, in Olympics sports we used to be awesome at. |
