And just like that, Minnesota's magical ability to squander large leads comes through.

Why can't Rollins be this aggressive the rest of the time? I get she has something to prove on nights like this but PSU has been desperate for a go-to player not named Parker or Hord all season and has rarely had one. Because that's the way she is. Hot and cold. Always has been. The chip on her shoulder against MN is getting really old though.

I'm sure Samedy loved scoring the set winning point off of Rollins' block.

Melani has 19 assists in set 1. That’s pretty amazing!

Someone please enlighten me as to why Penn State would get a top 16 seed ahead of Stanford (per NCAA.com and that nutcase Chester). They're 2-8 vs. ranked teams (and will end up at 2-9 if they lose to MN tonight). And Stanford not only beat Penn State head to head earlier this year, but were 7-8 vs. ranked teams. And they lost 3 consecutive games while missing 3 starters and up to 7 total players.

Shaff's placement to Samedy is horrible tonight, more so than usual. She's going to help Hord set a blocking record.

Seems like Minnesota either spots the other team a 5-6 point lead right at the beginning or loses a big lead at the end.
