Do we know why Owes didn’t play against Brown? injured. She injured her hip during the Arizona State game. Sorry to hear that. I hope it's not serious and she recovers quickly.

I think USC's tough serving can target Stanford's vulnerable passing, especially if Lougeay is still out (do we know if she is?). But USC will need to play strong defense against Stanford's pins and I'm not sure it'll happen. USC will 100% fight though. The rumor was that Lougeay was coming back last weekend, but it never happened. Even if she's back in the starting lineup against USC, with limited practice time her passing could enter the "shank-tank" zone. Hambly probably would like to see Lougeay play in at least one Pac-12 match before the NCAA tournament begins just to get a feel whether Stanford's old starting lineup can click. I selfishly want Kipp to keep playing 6 rotations because I think she could use that experience for when she goes pro. But I know it may not be the most optimal for Stanford’s serve receive

Is this a match USC has to win for .500 purposes and the RPI bump to even be considered for the NCAA tournament?

Do you truly think that the Card might miss the tourney if they lose these last 2 matches? Where does he say anything that even suggests that? Here's what he said: in all likelihood thay have a bid to the NCAA tournament locked up, even with a loss. naujack85 probably didn't have his/her morning coffee.

The phrase "in all likelihood" suggests that Stanford could miss the tourney but probably won't, which is still a pretty darn interesting take in my book. Obviously losing to Cal (currently 177 in pablo) to end the season would not be a good look, but to even suggest Stanford may not be dancing is pretty galling. I guess I was also wondering what their tournament resume would like if they lost both these last 2 matches and how they would compare to the other at-larges, which is again something that hasn't been discussed in any thread on this board that I've seen.

stream is going to be interesting. Announcer doesn't know anyone. They skip live play to show replay of a shank pass.

Commentator seems to have no idea who any of Stanford's players are without looking at his roster sheet.

Haven’t seen much of USC this season. Is the court new? It’s really nice
