Stanford is tied with Oregon for 5th in the PAC. USC is 7th in the PAC
USC needs to win 1 of its next 2 games to have a record of at least .500 so it can be eligible for the NCAA tournament
In accordance with Los Angeles County Department of Health event guidelines, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours will be required for all fans 3 and older to enter USC Women's Volleyball home matches at Galen Center. Visit USCTrojans.com/Safe for more information.
Projected Lineups - based on 11/21 matches
Other than Ariail for USC and Lougeay, Xu, L. Smith, and Fidelak for Stanford, are any other players out/unavailable for either team?
Owes was subbed out for Weske at the very beginning of the fourth set vs ASU. She didn't play vs Brown. Is she available?
Kami Miner and Natalie Berty were back vs CO and Utah; Annabelle Smith was in uniform.

Do or probably die for SC.
Somewhat ironically in 2018 USC beat UCLA in the last match of the season to make UCLA 13-14. This time if USC loses to the Farm, UCLA could put the nail in USC’s coffin.

Yes, this match is YUGE for USC. I'm guessing the Women will treat it like an NCAA tournament game, where focus and desperation go up a notch. I'm not certain how the Card and Hambly see it. I'm sure they want to continue their winning streak, but in all likelihood thay have a bid to the NCAA tournament locked up, even with a loss. Maybe their focus because of events that have transpired throughout the season should be "just get through this match without any injuries".

USC has not beaten Stanford since 2015 with Bricio.

I think USC's tough serving can target Stanford's vulnerable passing, especially if Lougeay is still out (do we know if she is?). But USC will need to play strong defense against Stanford's pins and I'm not sure it'll happen. USC will 100% fight though.

The rumor was that Lougeay was coming back last weekend, but it never happened. Even if she's back in the starting lineup against USC, with limited practice time her passing could enter the "shank-tank" zone. Hambly probably would like to see Lougeay play in at least one Pac-12 match before the NCAA tournament begins just to get a feel whether Stanford's old starting lineup can click.

USC has not beaten Stanford since 2015 with Bricio. Yeah, Plummer, Hentz, Gray, and Fitzmorris made sure of that.

Hard to predict this one. USC has a lot on the line, but Stanford's weapons are hard to defend. This could be a close one. I'm leaning towards Stanford taking it though.

Do you truly think that the Card might miss the tourney if they lose these last 2 matches?

Here's what he said: in all likelihood thay have a bid to the NCAA tournament locked up, even with a loss.
