There's a kid from Mequon too. Nicole Shanahan posted a more graphicly pleasing (and more DI specific) version of this on her Instagram a couple days ago, but as a 'story' that disappeared after 24 hours or some such. Sting is a strong program. Waite rode that horse as long as he could, but at some point it started to produce fewer of the super elite players than it did in the early 2000s, but still many DI, as you note. Fortunately Illinois took up the slack, and KPS has enormous ties to the Munciana pipeline. No kids from there now, but Munciana links go back to at least 2007.

Side note, in the concourse there was a very tall athletic woman with two small children. I didn't recognize her, but she told her kids, "let me show you my picture." (from the display on the west concourse) Wish I knew who it was. She looked to be mid-30s so I am guessing maybe 2004-5 era.
I also saw Jess Williams with her two kids.

What did everyone think? Orzol did well. Twice however she called it and Demps and the Loberg got in front of her. The block is still missing. Hilley spread the ball around well. I thought the Badgers looked sloppy at times, especially in the middle of Set 2. If they play like that on Thursday, they may be watching from the stands on Saturday. Smrek missed some big opportunities. And the block was suspect. But…thank God for Loberg. she was banging it and choosing her shots really well (until those back-to-back blocks on her in Set 3). And,yes, Orzol did well. But I wish Boyer could serve for her more. |

Hmm.. I know what Sheila looks like.. but people change. this person was not a brunette and kids were blonde.
Agree the Badgers were sloppy. My bigger concern is they can't seem to do much in stringing points together unless Barnes is serving.

I think the Badgers looked pretty clean. Not sure we were watching the sane match. Block wasn't the greatest, but the offense was spectacular. Orzol and Loberg were hitting very smartly, and Smrek was killing it, minus a couple errors ( she has the potential to be even more terminal, especially in fron of the setter than Rettke is)

Could be Jill. I have seen her from the couple times she played in Cardinal and White scrimmage years ago. She was tall, maybe 6ft and looked like she could still kill it. Lighter hair. And definitely would be featured on the westside concourse!
Edit:. looked her up. Very likely. Looks like she's in Madison again too.
