Here's my question, Coach! Why is Madison hosting a team from New York, Florida and Texas in the sub-regional? They're 900, 1400 and 1200 miles away.
What happened to our neighbors...Marquette, Iowa State and Illinois State?

There is always a subregional with three travelers.
I am finally glad to see someone other than ISU (either), Marquette. I was hoping Loyola could pull it off though.
my favorite fly-in was Howard.
Scariest fly-ins... any Pac 12 team.

For the heck of it, I was just looking at StubHub to see what tickets would be there. And now I'm pretty effing mad!
For both nights, there are pretty much full ROWS of seats in section R - center court, "prime reserved" seats - for sale at the web site.
That is, if I wanted to, I could right now buy 12 seats, all together, in row 11 of section R.
But when I applied, as a season ticket holder, to get four seats anywhere in "prime reserved", I was not able to.
What the absolute F is the deal here!?!

Hmm, I have a ticket for a single seat in that same section/row. How many seats are in a row? Something may be amiss.

We're usually in "prime reserved" seats and we are donors. And yet we couldn't get prime reserved tourney tix. Pretty sure this is the time of year when the high roller football donors think about volleyball for 2.5 seconds - long enough to reserve tourney tix - and then forget about it and make other plans. Hence the StubHub.

Yup. I didn't ask for prime reserved, but as a long time donor who actually goes to the matches, I don't think my tickets for this weekend are that great.
Interesting side note which makes it even stranger... I have seats that are reserved section for post season but during the regular season are GA seats. I took it to mean they had so many requests that they expanded reserved.
But you all are right... until they stop prioritizing the mbb and FB ticket holders, we are stuck.

I guess I could be reading in a little too much, in that Stubhub says - for example - 1-to-12 tickets are available in row 11. That doesn't necessarily mean the 12 are contiguous, and for the moment I was assuming they would be. But the row is only 19 seats wide. so if I can buy 12 of the 19... Row 13, 16 of the 19 available, both nights Row 16, 16 available one night, 13 the other night Row 9, 8 and 5 available Row 14, 8 both nights, etc etc

Don't get us started on how the block of visitor tickets never gets allocated to the public either.... not once in the times I have been to road matches post season have I had the chance to sit with other Badgers.

I have sent an email to the ticket office and to the main address of the AD office to complain. I suggest you guys do, as well. No, I don't expect much to be done, at least for this year. But they should know we are aware of this BS, and are not happy about it.
I also tweeted Sheffield directly about it.

How Wisconsin as the 4 seed has a joke of a second round Match and 3 seed pitt literally gets Kaitlyn Hord and Russ Rose in the second round is beyond me….. Geography is stupid

Geography is stupid So you are saying Pitt, the ACC 2nd place team doesn't get a fair draw because they will probably play the 6th place B1G team, a team with 10 losses on the year? But I thought the B1G getting 8 teams in was far too many and the ACC was so high up this year? Or, is this part of the PSU cupcake feast everybody complains about annually? Texas Tech has an RPI of 38, Louisville's probable second round opponent has an RPI of 35, Texas will have either San Diego (39) or Rice (24 solely due to 4-5 "good" losses), both of which are equal to TT or Mich.
