For sure. Texas had a lot of injuries all season long in 2010; got healthier for the post-season. Is that the year Khat Bell tore her ACL eight before the tournament? Or was that 2011? That was 2011

I'm shocked. Not that they lost, but the way they lost. 25-10? Wow.
Props to Illinois for the win!

If Illinois can repeat that performance I like their chances against Nebraska.

After a fluke covid title, Kentucky returns to its regular scheduled programming (i.e. losing in the tourney at home) Honestly? Fck you for attempting to negate some of these athlete's proudest life achievement.  Cant believe I’m saying this but DITTO. SMH what an idiot.

Congrats to the Fighting Illini. I did not see that coming against an amazing Kentucky program. By far their most complete performance of the year. That was the Raina Terry I thought we were going to get all year after the potential she showed as a freshman. Those back row kills today were SICK! Great team performance…let’s see what we can do against Nebraska on a neutral court. Here are the post-game quotes from the coaches and players: ukathletics.com/news/2021/12/4/volleyball-kentucky-illinois-post-match-quotes.aspx

Those people still wringing their hands about how bad Kentucky played have completely missed the strategic value of Illinois' serving. They completely blew up the entire Kentucky offense with their serving and big blocking front row. Kentucky was OOS the entire night, with balls flying all over the place.
In addition, Illinois' size was a huge factor, not just in blocking but also in its attacks from both pins and middles. The Illinois front line (pretty much 6'4"-ish all across) was crushing it tonight. Raina Terry...OMG. She looked like she was hitting "high hands" by hitting DOWN. If she's only 6'3" I'll eat my shorts.
Nor sure if they can keep this up, but they've just served notice, they're capable of it. Congrats.

Illinois played really well, but I like Nebraska’s chances Didn’t say they would just like their chances. UK didn’t start off playing bad they hit over 355 and 305 in the first 2 sets. But IU’s error relatively error free offense and defensive show just broke the will of UK in the 3rd. That to me more of what IU did rather than what UK didn’t do.

Eh. Ending your tournament run isn't fun, but it happens to 63 teams a year. Last time, Kentucky was the only team left standing. Ain't nobody taking away Kentucky's trophy. I know it sucks right now, but keep your chin up.

The choreographed dancing the Kentucky players do during the challenges is pretty neat. They seem to have 2 or 3 line dances the subs do, and the Cats have rhythm!
