“We are looking forward to another classic Hawaii-Washington showdown here (Saturday),” Cook said.

Too bad Jolie and Hanna are not on the team this year. If they were, this Wahine Team would be a Seeded Team, and a Regional Final, if not a Final Four team. Can you imagine Jolie, and BVS, on the Outside, with Hanna, at Opposite.

No worries, just go out have fun, play your game, nobody is expecting the Wahine to beat UW. UW is the team that has the pressure on them. They have to worry, which Wahine team will be on the floor. The Wahine team just needs to enjoy the moment.

Congrats Rainbow Wahine on the win against an athletic MSU team. I know you will give the Huskies a stiff test. Although I'm a long-time UW season ticket holder, I'll be watching the match from Kapalua (Maui).

Just saw it last year before Jolie got hurt. But that was without Lang as the setter. Also, Skye Williams was not playing like she is now, neither was Amber Igiede.

If UW looks ahead to facing Texas, and takes the Wahine team lightly, they will get beat.

I think Hawaii matches up decently with UW. I think the disparity may lie with execution. Washington is known for having an organized game and a high level of execution. If Hawaii can serve tough and give the block a chance to be effective, I’m expecting an entertaining and competitive match.

It will be interesting to see who Robyn starts at Opposite, it could be any of 3 players, Tiffany Westerberg, Martyna Leoniak, or even Braelyn Akana. They all bring something different to that position.
