Miyabe has been great for the gophers of late. If badgers get through UCLA, I'm not looking forward to seeing the gophers again. I was more confident about facing Baylor.

Lots of attention being paid to Pressley and she is great but also sad for Skinner but she did get hers earlier in the year. Both great hitter. Will be interesting to see how Baylor continues as a program with the departure of Texas and what recruits and players they have coming in.

Ya'll gushing over Jenna when she had 13 kills hitting .111, meanwhile Miyabe has 18 hitting .324.
Put some respect on her name!

If I’m rooting for a big ten team I quite like Illinois and Minnesota but they got matched up against some of my fave teams. Either way don’t see why that’s important

<3 great game. So proud of the gophers for gutting it out.
Thought Husemann looked really good offensively. Meyers and Kilkelly both had very important service runs. Also Kilkelly had that huge dig on Pressley in the 5th.
Hopefully Samedy is okay and will be ready for Saturday!

Wenaas had some critical kills towards the end of the 5th set, just impressed with her ability to perform with the season on the line. Hoping Miyabe can match the performance next match!

I'm elated about MN's comeback, but I feel for Baylor. They had control of most of the match and they are a CLASS operation.

Her nickname isn't "5th set Wenaas" because she's consistent across a whole match! But jesting aside, both of them came up big and got kills against double blocks and held off some tough serving as go-to players in their first Sweet 16 matches as starters. Brilliant!
