Holy crapppppp! That was the most exciting ending to a match i’ve watched in a long time. No way did i think Purdue would be able to save their season on all those match points.

OH MY GOSH!!!! Dr. Don and someone up there sure loves Purdue Volleyball. There is no way Purdue should have won down 10-14 in the fifth. I was so heartbroken. Then one point after another point and Purdue ties it. I went through so many emotions. BYU gave Purdue all that they could handle. It was a hard earned win. Dr. Don is smiling today, for sure. |

Such mental resilience shown by Purdue...especially by Otec. It really was an oops for BYU's passing though, there's no other way to put it...2 aces and a missed free ball pass ended up being the difference. Painful to watch. Purdue is only looking like a final 4 team about half the time, they're so hot and cold - against a better passing team it would've been game over, BYU gave them a gift. Congrats to both teams on a hard fought match though.

Not so much a choke honestly nerves of steel and Otec was placing that ball with intent so good. You could tell Olmstead was pissed looked like Dave wanted to exchange some convo and she walked away quickly It was the definition of a choke. There is now a picture of BYU in the dictionary under the word “choke”. |

BYU in probably it's worst rotation at 14-11 because they couldn't pull Koerber back into the pass without having an awkward formation on serve-receive, she was in Ro 2

The other team is allowed to do good things, dude. Also, two things can be true at once. It's a thing True, but not here LoL, it was a free ball passed into the bottom of the of the net. That has absolutely zero to do with the opponent and it happened at a point where BYU was on fire so it was ALL choke. |

Since our back row isn’t LDS, I’d imagine they will find a bar. Loss is on them. BYU played their hearts out and gave away this match I don’t know the setter made horrible choices at the end, should have gone to Koerber at the end, she was going klan crazy. |

Now that I'm done shaking and crying and planning to live in a cave for a year, I have to credit the Purdue coaching staff for one major change this game:
Flip-flopping Johnson and Colvin made a huge difference. This is the first time both middles have been that offensively active all season. Both can run the slide and are really great in front of the setter. It gave them so many more offensive options when Bush was front row.
A missed opportunity: bringing Ellis in sooner. She might be high error, but she's a hell of a blocker.

For such an important match, games of these sorts should not be starting this early. I was like 8am start time for us west coasters? When they schedule all the matches during 'primetime' people complain that they can't watch them all at once and tell them to spread it out. When they spread it out someone complains that it's too early/too late. Can't make everyone happy. All the complaining about start times is kinda weird |

So, if I send over a free ball and the libero flubs it, do I get a kill? Guess there is no stat for digging errors, even free balls?
