I think this is going to be a battle. Purdue is streaky as hell but has a lot of weapons. I think Pitt pulls it out in 4 or 5, they're just the more consistent team.

I will be cheering Purdue on from work as hard as I was on Thursday. I know that Pitt will be just as hungry as Purdue. I am hoping for another miracle 🤞🙏🤞🙏

Pitt has to limit their own bad streaks to take advantage of Purdue’s (who is showing during this tournament that they will have them). I’ll be really interested to see how the Pitt left sides limit Cleveland.

Purdue making two straight regional finals is a great accomplishment for the program. I’m happy this match puts each team in a position to make history for their programs.
That being said, I would love to see Purdue make it to the regional finals. This group has been together for what feels like 8 years and I would like to see them advance even further. Nothing against Pitt, it’s just since I’ve seen Purdue more, I have seen this senior class really develop.
But regardless of the result, I won’t be upset to see either of these teams in the final 4

I like Pitt a ton and Ndee is so fun to watch but I’m going with Purdue in a close 5 sets. They’ve been up and down but have shown such grit when staring down nearly impossible odds. Otec is a fantastic libero, Bush is a good setter and Newton and Grace are baller pins. I also like what I saw from Purdue’s middle attack down the stretch against BYU.
I would not be surprised to see a Pitt in 3, 4 or 5 though. This team is spunky and if playing well can beat anyone. The best part about this match is it will produce a new final four team!
