I got to witness that resiliency firsthand, when the Gophers had Texas down 23-17 in set 1. The Longhorns just seemed to find an extra gear and gritted out that win. Gabriel led the charge in that one, and Phillips was the silent assassin too. Not to mention Parra's serving. That match confirmed Texas' #1 ranking at the time, as they looked like a team on a mission. If Texas remains calm and keeps their offense firing, despite Nebraska's defensive efforts, they should pull this one out 3-1. Its the Honey Badger effect. Her attitude, energy, demeanor and focus never changes whether Texas is up 7 or down 7. She is flat out relentless. , I will buy you drinks forever if you tap Paul Sunderland on the shoulder and tell him about Honey Badger. I want this to go national!!!! |

I love Jhenna’s feistiness and pettiness but Logan is the Honey Badger that doesn’t care. The team follows her lead, when in hole she’s the rock they cling to mentally to dig out. |
