Impressed how Batenhorst was able to turn it around at the end of that set. Tough to do, especially for a freshman Being able to stick with it and work out of the poor performance was a sign of real growth, in my opinion. |

This is over sadly. The Nebraska defense is just wearing pitt down And their passing is making everyone second guess their serve. Error or lollipop. Texas fell for the same thing. Too true. I really think the high rate of SEs by Husker opponents of late is forced in part by trying to keep up with the tough serving they're facing. |

I LOVE that all the FF teams showed up. This is what you want, no matter who you're rooting for. Absolutely! And I think that sentiment's behind some Husker fans saying they don't care if Nebraska wins the next game. Of course they care, but it's just been such satisfying play, very competitive. Nobody getting swept off the floor. |

I have to be at work in 6 hrs 55 min...who else? It’s true, it’s true. plus a FF already with this young team and with the up and down year we had is a win for us! Plus sleep, some of us work at 7am I had a conference call at 6:00 am EST. Ugh. |

Looking like during Foecke’s freshman year. I was thinking her senior year, after Kelly Hunter was gone and Nicklin was a freshman. Other than Foecke, the team had no real standouts and was not picked to go far. But they gelled into an incredibly cohesive group that fell just short in the NCAA final--losing 15-12 in set five to Stanford. |

Nebraska make serve and pass look easy, eventually they just exhaust teams.. John Cook: “(Pittsburgh) kind of came back down to earth, and we just kept after them. Coach Osborne would be proud.
