Yāall continue to doubt Pitt and they continue to keep winning. Pitt takes this one. Almost everyone doubted the Huskers too against Texas including a lot of Husker fans. Gonna be a tough match, was impressed by Pittsburgh yesterday. |

Watched some highlights of the four matches and I have to say that Leketor is the hardest hitter left by a decent margin. She has a cannon!

Pitt was the best offensive team in the regional finals, and is the best offensive team left. But they are also the weakest backcourt defensive team left. Browske is very up and down and I thought at times their right back defense wasnāt too good.
It will be interesting to see what the Nebraska serve does against Pitt. Purdueās serving wasnāt good for the entire first set and many servers were serving lollipops over. If Nebraskaās serving game is on, and especially Akanaās, Pitt will be OOS much more than they were in the Purdue game.
The Nebraska freshmen showed up against Texas, I do think that Batenhorst and the set she receives needs to be right for her game to be productive. Krause also needs a good set, but I think she also just has to keep doing what sheās been doing and making sure not to drag the ball down and allow the opponents to get good block touches.
Altogether, I think if Nebraska can get two pins and a middle going while maintaining their service pressure, they have a really good shot. But I do think Pitt is playing very good ball (as they have been all year) and Nebraska will also have to be ready for any of the six hitters on Pittās side.

I see that so far, Nebraska seems to be the overwhelming favorite to win this match. Why were they a 10 seed? Was it just for scheduling purposes? I watched the 1st set last night against Texas, and they looked like they should have been seeded higher. Thanks for any insight. because thereās approximately 4764356466 more Nebraska fans on this board than Pitt fans. People also love to jump on the āpitt is overratedā band wagon so that could play into it @madden55 I appreciate you! Pitt is in the Final 4 and people will still think they are over rated. Just another Big10 team to cross off next to PSU and Purdue |

One reason Pitt got this far is that they finally learned that the Pete is a bad place to play post-season volleyball!
