I've added a link to the spring scrimmage schedule in the OP and typed it out in table form in the second post, FYI.

Any opinions about Brooke Mosher finding the starting lineup in the fall? Lots of opinions. Unfortunately we don’t know what names the coaches use on VT.

Seems there have been an unusually large number of transfers this year, particularly within the B1G. While we haven’t picked up any transfers (yet), it’s great to see all our players have decided to remain in C-U. I have an even greater appreciation for our coaching staff and the culture they have created at Illinois. Shout out to Coach Tamas and his staff. Go Illini!

They have Izzy Ashburn and MJ Hammill. They are fine.
Feel like you need to play Mosher and let Brown be the backup. Mosher didn't come here intending to sit for 2 years.

Difficult problem for both coach and teammates. Similar situation existed when Poulter was a freshman and Viliunas was a senior. The other seniors' loyalty and friendship created tension that impacted play on the court. Viliunas handled the situation with grace and was very supportive of both Poulter and the team, leading the cheers and keeping spirits high during matches. Poulter started at the beginning of the year, was benched for a few matches, then returned much better than before the benching. After the season Viliunas joined the women's basketball team because, for a variety of reasons, they were short-handed. Hambly left for Stanford shortly after the season finished.

There shouldn't even be a discussion about setter if you live in reality. Brown was very good last season. Mosher isn't Poulter. No comparison. Brown will be the starter, it's simple.

It's very apparent that there are few if any setters equal to Poulter. Brown is not Poulter either. There's a lot to like about Brown. I personally do not like her nervous energy that she brings to the court. I particularly appreciated Poulter's cool confidence that was always on display. I am trusting some of my more astute volleyball watchers who feel the same about Mosher. Ultimately, there is only one opinion that matters, and that belongs to Coach Tamas.

I think he went to Kentucky. He was the volunteer at Kentucky this past fall and is not returning for next year. Based on his recent social media posts it looks like he left coaching for corporate america.
