Right. But there's not an On3 writer covering volleyball. They may be sending someone to the press conferences. I don't know every name that works over there. But none of the names called out for questions sound like anyone I recognize over there, whereas I do recognize Chip's name, and he's called on relatively frequently. Who wrote the article pinned to the top? Steve Habel The article is no longer pinned - likely because more were posting on the original thread. Thanks. I’ll listen for his name at press conferences. It’s highly likely he’s been there and I just didn’t have any name recognition. I don’t have any thoughts on the length of the volleyball thread to women’s basketball other than it doesn’t feel like an apples to apples comparison. Personally I find volleyball waaaay more compelling than women’s basketball, but that’s hardly a surprise given where I’m posting this. My experience on other Texas message boards is that I tend to have way more passion and interest in volleyball than other Texas fans, whereas on here I feel very average in that regard, and that’s not a slight on me. I remember when I was extremely active on Orangebloods and it felt like mln59 and I were the only volleyball fans on the board. But that was many years ago. I’m sure the interest has grown there as well. Primarily I’m curious how many of the Big 3 (Orangebloods/Inside Texas/24-7) have people regularly attending press conferences. I know Chip Brown does. I’ll look for Steve Habel. Thanks for the info. |

I’m really trying to wrap my head around the setter who set their team to the highest hitting percentage by FAR not getting on a team. It’s the Texas grading curve. Any Texas setter loses points because the assumption is anyone can set Texas to a high %. |

I guess I am SO LATE but who is Carissa Barnes? I have never heard her name before. Is she going to take the lib position next season? Possibly Akana or Halter? I think I'm just so used to Texas taking big names, like earlier this season I was just so in shock with all the names they were pulling in.
