I wouldn’t be so sure on Elliott over the next ten years. He recruits very well and he owned the portal market this year. A new tool he controlled. Elliott has to go the Portal route, cause he is unable to develop talent on his own. 3/4 leading scorers in the title match were Day 1 Texas recruits and multi year starters. Those 3 are all going to or have played a 5th year in the Texas program. The winning setter didn’t even start last season behind another multi year starter and original Texas recruit. I get that “let’s hate on Texas” is a theme on this thread, but at some point you have to realize how stupid the bandwagoning is. This is a good team who was hungry all year and showed it when it counted. Just give credit where credit is do, like to the second best team in the nation…Iowa State lol |

And any coach not going after the best ones is negligent. You get that right? And any team can recruit them. You get that right? I think when we finally figure out why you’re a screaming pile of crying snot in the corner it’s going to have less to do with portals and Texas and more to do with your mom and dad. |

Tell Elliot go develop his own players, that is, if he is able to. Not pack his team with a lot of transfers. Logan Eggleson, Asija O’Neal, Molly Phillips, Haley Eckerman, Destinee Hooker, Micaya White, Brionne Butler, Chiaka Ogbogu plus MANY others would like a word. I’m still waiting on some “very successful” coach out of Hawaii’s list of developed athletes You actually don’t have to knock Hawaii to crap on wahinefan, no one besides the other excommunicates claim them. They literally just got lucky getting that screen name. They don’t speak for Hawaii fans, so adjust the insults please  |

Why are we still engaging to the haters? This had been our night! Ignore the Felicias!
Just got back to the room after the FANTASTIC celebration in the hotel bar. I wish all of the Texas fans could have been there. Members of the 2012 team were there, family, past coaching staff, supporters, friends of the team… can’t tell you how many times I cried meeting the players as they came over after the team meeting to celebrate.
And I love that Akana got the ace on Championship Point.

i’ll start by saying, i was rooting for Louisville for the sake of growing the sport…but the fact that zoe wasn’t given any sort of post tourney accolades is @$$%*!*. she was one of the best players all tournament long and she should have given all tournament over SKT and others.
