Hawaii will win another National Championship, before Texas wins another one. oof girl, I'm all for shading Texas but even I can't get behind this prediction LOL I think they might be referring to the Hawaii Men's team going for a 3-peat.

Hawaii will win another National Championship, before Texas wins another one. Your negativity on a night where three girls FROM HAWAII won a national championship is why Hawaii fans get a bad reputation here even though there are a lot of good ones. Embarrassing. You can't group us all together. Wahinefan is the worst of us. They attack our own SA's. We're so over them.

I would not call them, girls from Hawaii. Once they leave, they are no longer considered Hawaii girls. Can you stop, you have no right to say that. They are more Hawaiian than you'll ever be.

Congratulations Texas. I'm so happy for the Hawaii girls. Well deserved. I took a nap that went straight through the match. 😭😭😭

A "Sliding Doors" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sliding_Doors) question:
1. If JG stays with the team in 2022, who is starting setter? Does it stay status quo where SKT only gets 3-set playing time?
2. If JG is starting setter in 2022, does Texas win the NC?

lmao what if we would’ve competed with Wisconsin, Pitt, and Nebraska for best 6-2?🤣

Sliding door question 2:
If we say that Fields out = Skinner in, would the results have been the same for this year?

Sliding door question 3:
If we say Fleck in = Iosa out, would we.....ahhh, never mind.
Okay, question 3b:
If Fleck hadn't followed her boyfriend to Hollywood and gone to Austin instead, would 2020 been different? Better?

Sliding door question 4:
Bergmark started the year because Caffey wasn't physically ready. Without Bergmark, would JE have burnt Singletary's redshirt because we needed a body for MB2?
And if yes, would we have lost a few games with a true freshman making freshman mistakes? i.e. NET!

Sliding door question 5:
Baby Spice was coming regardless. Petersen was leaving regardless (playing her last year for Mom and with your twin? Duh)
Iosia was unhappy (?) that Fleck was being brought in to challenge her (?)
If Iosia had stayed would we have gone after Akana?

Sliding door question 6:
Think Ewert and Bergmark are like, "OMG, how lucky was I to take a chance on going to Texas"

1.) I feel like SKT would’ve got the nod, mostly because of her size and our much improved passing.
2.) Yes, if Skylar again was cool playing three rotations.
3a.) LMAO Halter would’ve snatched that libero jersey, and say we still had Akana (and maybe even Peterson instead), I think we still win. Think being the key word there.
3b.) I’m not sure. I think 2021 might’ve been the bigger difference. O’Brien was solid. Fleck might’ve pushed us over the edge but Kentucky was playing lights out. 2021 though… we would’ve beat Nebraska and made it to the natty. Don’t know if we beat Wisconsin or not but I think we’d have a shot.
4.) No Bergmark, I say maybe we would’ve put Phillips in the middle and let Devin play right side. Tried to keep Singletary’s redshirt if we could. By the way, I’m not sure how many people saw her in the 6v6 pre-game warmups this weekend, but she is a STUD. Like wow level good. And she seems like such an amazing teammate! I’m hoping Asjia talked with her and asked her if she’d leave if she came back. She’ll still have three years of starting, and while I think it’s unlikely she beats Bergmark out, she could. I’d be devastated if we lost her because she didn’t start this next year.
5.) No, I think we used Iosia’s ship on Akana. they’re somewhat similar players to me.
6.) I hope so🥹 especially Bergmark who should be starting full time next year

Congratulations to the Longhorns on a well deserved championship. The talent was exceptional, and blended into a terrific *team* that was so much stronger than the sum of its parts. I was rooting for Louisville to at least make it close, but it wasn’t. Well done!
