They we’re definately not Minnesota nice. Lol I already posted the two Nebraska fans in our seats were upset we asked them to move and made the comment this is going to be interesting as we slid past them. Everyone in our section which was entirely Nebraska cheered for every Louisville point which was fine but stared at us as we cheered for every Texas point as if it wasn’t allowed😂 That’s why I posted it was great beating Louisville and Nebraska in the same night. Lol |

Coach Elliott's comments early in the year seem to have been verified: "Our team is the deepest I've ever had as a coach, it's the most talent I've ever had... .We know we have talent." Chris Plonsky has taken a lot of slack while at Texas (a lot of it deserved), but she made one of the best hires of any our last A.D.s in the last 2-3 decades. “Yeah, I’m relieved. I’m so thankful. I’m honored to be the one that got to coach with these women. I’m honored to be the one who leads this program. I’m honored that Chris Plonsky, who’s sitting in the back, hired me and believed in me when I was wet behind the years at 32 years old or 31."She absolutely deserves credit. I can’t say I’m a fan of Plonsky. In fact, I can outright say I’m not. But some of the issues I think of her as responsible for over her long tenure at Texas has simply been succeeding within the atmosphere/culture that was already there. She’s ambitious, bright, and whatever I think of her methods she’s a huge part of the athletic department over the last 30+ years. I’m glad Elliott acknowledged her. |
