Okay, I think many are wondering what Nicklin may do this coming year. Any chance she might consider staying on as a volunteer assistant coach? Could she do that and also have a roster spot to allow her to play if Kennedi were the starter and had an injury? Crazy thoughts I know, but that's the way my mind rolls! Asst Coach and player...uh no... |

It's possible that transfers in and out may redefine the 2022 squad from the 2021 squad. Should become more evident within a month or so.

Akana posted on social media and nothing about it gave "transfer" vibes, but then again when these athletes return home for the holidays, sometimes they realize how much they miss it and that can sway a mind. Especially in her case where she's so far from home, but even Roddy said "can't wait to do this again next year!" to her. So I'm quite optimistic she will remain a Husker...she knew Knuckles was ahead of her when she arrived, and she knew Roddy was coming.

Does anyone know if they used a medical redshirt this year for Orr? I can't think they wouldn't have used her at some point in the year if this wasn't the case. From my understanding you apply for a medical redshirt after you’ve exhausted eligibility. So that’s an issue down the road if they want to pursue it. Maybe she’ll be an All-American and ready to play pro by then? |
