I can confirm that it would be dumb af for any single solitary person of an organization to ever say any solitary single piece of information about an employee's private life out loud for any reason at all that is not in the interest of the public, ESPECIALLY when it involves confidential info about them AND another person employed by the aforementioned organization. Im not saying it’s appropriate. But back in my college days, if I were a student at an opposing school, I’d have a field day with this information when creating signs and cheers for our match against Nebraska.

Only if that's part of employee standards a priori. That's why companies have an employee handbook. To lay out the rules of this type of thing. Many companies only have an issues if it's a superior/subordinate relationship. Both Reyes and Hunter are assistent coaches and neither reports directly to the other. It's much less likely (but no impossible) that it's forbidden when it's two people at equivalent levels. And if you try to set those standards after the fact and then remove someone for violating standards"that were never explicitly stated up front, that's grounds for a wrongful termination lawsuit. I dont know what they are : but the University of Nebraska we are sure has non-fraternization policies: and so to does the athletic department even if Cook doesnt have any for his team or staff! You really need to get with the times; it’s 2022, and nobody should be policing other adults’ affairs or bedrooms regardless of their fame. It’s actually appalling how you think they don’t deserve privacy but instead a reprimand. This would be a violation of their employment contracts for their employer to punish or terminate either of them over this. |

my thinking is that fraternizing between staff would be not tolerated. And would be reason to remove one or both from the staff for violating said standards. Christy Johnson-Lynch and Joe Lynch, the Kreklows, Rosens, Corbellis, and Tamas are fine examples of current and former coaches boinking their lover/fellow coach off the court. Don’t even me bc they’re married and that makes it okay. Considering how millions of Americans just gained the recognition and benefits of marriage within the past 10 years—and given how those Americans are possibly at risk of losing those privileges again—we are not exempting married couples from your no fraternization policy. Regardless, what consenting adults do off the court is none of our damn business unless it has a direct negative impact on the quality of their work or breaks the law. Fraternization policies are about co-workers and in a university setting staff/faculty/student between any combination. Married couples being hired and working together are nepotism policies. This isnt about “boinking” although for you it is: this is about company's/schools/groups want to have policies thT enhance the work product: “ key to a fraternization policy is to minimize the impact of the things that can go wrong in the workplace while maximizing the powerfully positive aspects of employee relationships. You also want to identify relationships that are forbidden because of their potential impact at work.”. To quote the original post “the 2 assistants will not even talk to one another. Players can take one coaches side over another, a sundry of other potential scenarios that this could cause. Policies attempt to minimize this potential! We should tKe nepotism to another thread: some husband wife teams haven’t been able to take some volleyball jobs because of university nepotism policies! |

Can someone just tell me, how this Jaylen/Kelly information got exposed/started??? How does that even get out, assuming they didn't/wouldn't tell a single soul due to them both having partners?
