I'm confused is round of 32 - second round or third round. Hopefully this makes sense. round of 32 is the second round. I was assuming the poster was referring to nebraska next 'home game' after this one would be a final 4 in Omaha, predicting they'll have to get past Louisville in the elite 8 to get there. the post gave me the impression that the poster is kinda banking on nebraska to get to the regional final, so I was just pointing out that oregon is a very legit obstacle to have to go through on the way there All good! This poster has had his heartbroken by too many Husker teams (I'm talking all sports too) to ever seriously look ahead haha

Madden and horns must be big Nebraska fans to be professing their love in Nebraska 2022. Hope to see you on the Bergen train in 2023 I've been treated well numerous times in Lincoln and Omaha for business or sporting events. Coming from living in Chicago and attending university in Southern and Northern California, I have been treated well and welcomed as well in Lincoln and Omaha. My wife is from Lincoln (and went to UNL), so being accepted there and now Omaha (where we live) is pretty amazing. I've been to numerous games at Devaney along with football games, and the Nebraska fans have treated the fan base of other teams pretty well. Even when Oklahoma came to Nebraska this past fall. Ha! Conversely, my experience with UT fans (with the exception of being spit on by some UT students at the Nebraska/Texas tourney game last year) has been nothing but great as well. I have an immense respect for the school, teams, and fans. Funny enough, it took coming to an internet message board to see fans from other schools being jerks and @$$%*!*s. Funny how hiding behind a keyboard works within human nature

Top 16 matches shouldn't be cake walks. And this is the overall #7 VS the overall #10. Expect it to be a good match.

Very wishful thinking but fanatics will fanatic 🤷🏼♂️

I’ve seen nothing from her consistently that suggests she’s going to be a great player at Nebraska. I think she can be potentially a really solid player, but I just don’t have the same optimism that you do. That’s just my opinion. That's fair, but I've seen a couple practices where she looks head and shoulders above everyone on the court. She's the only one that I've seen her completely dominate a couple practice scrimmages offensively. They just need to "set it and forget it" with her. Stick her on the left, find a setter with decent location and she'll produce. As I said, “consistently”. In my opinion she doesn’t have good feet, and I think it’s incredibly difficult to be a strong left lacking in that area.

FWIW - Evans would obviously not be making 1st or 2nd team B1G 10. However, she has stepped into a huge role and done her best and in my opinion played a pivotal part and bringing a lot of energy off the bench. So some might see this as a participation award - but I see it as a unsung hero who plays with team first mentality and deserves recognition!

We could list all night highly productive attackers with technical flaws. I just care about production and trend/trajectory. In the last 10 matches, Krause is hitting .365. As a comparison, Lauenstein is hitting .245 over the same stretch and Kubik is hitting .225. Imo, Krause's consistency is starting to show, but your mileage may vary.

It looks as though Krause and Batenhorst are gaining on their mojo, they both looked really good. If these two sophomores can get us through to elite 8, I'd be happy as *&^#. Just think we need Knuckles to go all the way.
