Am I the only one who didnt see Tyler as Cook's "heir"?
I have a feeling its going to be DBK or bust (or maybe Skinner... but thats an idk)

Hire Kristen Kelsay and give Jaylen and Kelly raises. That would solidify asst. coaching and recruiting.

Am I the only one who didnt see Tyler as Cook's "heir"? I have a feeling its going to be DBK or bust (or maybe Skinner... but thats an idk) If JC is going to stay for 3 or more years, there will be a lot of possible candidates. |

I think mendelson is more likely to start immediately than allick based off what I’ve seen so far

If Cook were to retire and DBK wanted the job tomorrow--how could you not take DBK? (Frankly Cook's retirement would bring a bunch of D1 coaches applying for the job, with or without Nebraska ties) At this point the Cook coaching tree is amazing and there could so many good candidates. |

Could be the starting two in the middle if no changes are made to the roster or Mendelson could play opp for at least the season if we get a transfer middle like hord, Crawford etc. |

No offense to Meyer (who’s worked hard) but what I’ve seen from her wasn’t at that level. |

I mean, I know that's how Frank Solich succeeded Tom Osborne, but still. If you're talking about who Cook hires as assistants, than sure. But I think the conversation is about who would succeed Cook when he retires. |

No offense to Meyer (who’s worked hard) but what I’ve seen from her wasn’t at that level. Mendelson was really good, but Becca was better in their final match. In the later matches, Becca's serving keyed many of their scoring runs and she came up with big blocks. I see them as about even. The talent in the u18 was not better than what was in the Husker gym this fall and Kaylynn has also had a year of superior strength training. |

He wants a quality veteran middle. |
