I've noted that Loberg pass in my mind many times rewatching the end of that match. Loberg was amazing throughout that last point. The dig on the final rally was clutch, but I actually think one of her plays earlier in the point was more impressive. She got the first two sets in the point and cranked both shots, which were amazingly defended by Nebraska, but firmly set Wisconsin ahead in the point. Then there was a mishandled (not illegal) dig by Demps that had shanked off the block and threatened to change the momentum of the point and give leverage to Nebraska. Loberg got an OOS bump set from Barnes and did an amazing job resetting the point off the block and essentially giving the Badgers back a freeball. At that point, Hilley went to Rettke for the rest of the offense until she put it down for the match. Had Nebraska gained momentum on a freeball, who knows how it could have ended. I still remember Paul Sunderland's audible "gasp" on that shot she hit intentionally into the block to reset the point. She was awesome and deserves just as much credit for that final point as Hilley & Rettke do. |

I've always loved Loberg and rooted for her as an 'underdog' since she seemed to draw criticism more easily than some of her teammates. That's why she's my avatar.

Doesn't look like it. I'm still holding out hope for names on the jerseys, but it's likely in vain.

Just back from the Punzel book signing at University Book Store. The turnout was really good, and might turn out to have been 'just right'.
I got there and in line a few minutes before the 5:30 start time, and made it through getting the signatures about 6:15. And when I left, the line remaining was about as long as it had been when I got into it, so maybe another 45 minutes-worth of people.

We were likely a bit behind you. Got there at about 6 and stood in line for 45 minutes or so.
