Since Liz now has a few, Does Izzy do push-ups when Gregorski gets an ace ? (Is MJ on court then and Izzy on the side ?)

The last couple matches, at least, the Franklin/Gregorski serving slot comes right after MJ in the rotation. Meaning Izzy is indeed on the sideline, and available for push-ups. And that should certainly be happening! |

I didn't track this, so I went to see what happened. Dru Kuck went to Kansas State for two seasons, then to Alabama in 2021. Looks like she played in most 2021 matches, but only 1 match this year for the Crimson Tide, so far. |

Lola as a sophomore helped lead the Brebeuf Jesuit Braves to a state championship in Indiana Class 3a volleyball. She set the state record for digs in a 3a volleyball title match with 36. This 5 set thriller of a match between Brebeuf and Bellmont is available at www.ihsaatv.org/?B=319379. I didn't track this, so I went to see what happened. Dru Kuck went to Kansas State for two seasons, then to Alabama in 2021. Looks like she played in most 2021 matches, but only 1 match this year for the Crimson Tide, so far. Dru has played in 10 total sets so far this year (including the entirety of the most recent 2 matches) according to Alabama volleyball team stat page. Their webpage where they list one game under Dru's profile has not been updated in a bit. Dru won SEC defensive player of the week 2 consecutive weeks at beginning of 2021 season. As a team though Alabama was terrible and changed coaches at tail end of last season. |

Aces: (Post Rhode Island) Guctekin: 18 Ashburn: 10 Hammill: 9 The combined setter position is responsible for the most aces on the team but… is the setter position serving 2x as much as any other position in a 6-2, or is either setter serving half as much as they would in a 5-1 system? I’m still trying to wrap my head around little details like this. |

Izzy’s numbers are not as good right now, but aces often come in batches. We don’t have enough data to tell if her obligations as setter are reducing her effectiveness as a server. I’d be more curious of the passing numbers vs Izzy as I suspect she makes passers the most uncomfortable. However, she also has a higher error rate which prevents her from long runs unlike GG. |

My wife and I are thoroughly enjoying the now mandatory celebration where GG jumps into Ashburn's arms after every ace, and enjoying even more the laughter between Ashburn and Orzol when GG heads back for the next serve. I knew she did it at the end of winning sets. I have to watch more closely now! It was a highlight on channel3000, to your point! There should be a video highlight reel which is just her jumps. |

Thought this was cute. Also, terrifying how fast Lexi and Regan are growing up, and how they look like Kelly and Cathy 2.0.
Not sure which shirt I would get. I never get jerseys with names on them because I am always afraid of jinxing the player.
Calling me superstitious is also bad luck, so don't do it!
