Also tonight, Ole Miss split matches with FAMU (W) and South Alabama (L), both sweeps. Seems like the Rebels are still trying to find the right lineup.

I didn’t get to see the match but from looking at the stat cast it seems as though State switched to the 6-2 at some point brining in Oerther and McBride. McBride hit .500 on 8 swings, but how did they actually look running the 6-2? Any chance they settle on this lineup going forward? Looking at the stats it seems we struggled from both OH spots… Off night? Or something to be concerned about going forward? |

Need a bigger block they may go to the 6-2. Speed offense working well may stick to a 5-1. I’m not happy with our results but they fought a little harder against BG then they did Houston at the end. |

Believe it or not, they actually don't award an SEC Setter of the Year oh, huh. interesting. I wonder why not I don't think I've ever realized this either. Which is interesting because they have SEC Setter of the Week awards. On the flipside, it looks like they have SEC Libero of the Year, but during season it's just "Defensive Player" of the week... I would love to know the logic behind SEC VB awards too! |

Arkansas made me look good rating them higher than most others did in the poll. I was pretty convinced of that by how they beat Colorado. Congrats to them for an even bigger win against Georgia Tech.

So far in today's action:
Alabama loses to ULL (3-0) and TCU (3-1).
Arkansas beats NC State 3-1 in what looked like an emotional let down match post GT - pretty sloppy play.
Auburn sweeps So Mississippi.
LSU sweeps Oregon State.
Miss State has a very poor first two sets against Michigan before coming back to take set 3, but still loses in 4.
Mizzou beats Ohio in 5 sets, and Butler in 4.
SC avoids the reverse sweep against Miami by pulling out set five 15-11.
Tenn gets swept by Pitt in 3 fairly close sets (all 20 pts or more)
TAMU has the Jekyll and Hyde of the day by losing in 4 sets to B1G weakling Indiana but then sweeping ranked (not for long) Western Kentucky, hitting .452 for the match!!! (WKU hit .354 for the match, and both teams had just over 10 digs/set. Not a match for lovers of defense!)
And in progress, Florida is up 2-1 in sets vs Wisky, but the Badgers have run out to a big lead in set 4.

Florida pulls out the 5 set win in Madison - absolutely bonkers match. Really nice (and impressive road) win for the Gators.
